DEVELOPING INTERPERSONAL CONVERSATION SKILLS OF ENGINEERING COLLEGE STUDENTS THROUGH POETRY

Developing the Interpersonal Interaction (IPC) expertise of the college students has become one of many goals of engineering education especially in a developing region like India. To enhance and enrich the employability from the millions of pupils entering a global job market at the end of every academics year, the necessity and need for developing the interpersonal communication skills from the students at under graduate student level as well as the viable ways to integrate social communication expertise in the The english language language subjects are more popular and accepted by almost all academicians. This paper offers a new and dynamic approach to develop the social communication expertise of the students using „poetry‟ as a potential tool. This explores the field of communication research, highlights the „interpersonal relationship‟ in the process of all contexts of communication and emphasizes the role and significance of interpersonal interaction skills. This shows poetry as a possible genre to be used in the interpersonal connection skills advancement classes being a teaching material and courses in discovering the methods to take on a composition to achieve the goals of teaching and learning procedure. It provides a sample followed by research that proves the proposition. It also enlists an array of poetry that can be used to develop interpersonal connection skills from the student fraternity.

Communication can be an everyday sociable activity that may be an essential and inherent element of every individual. It is a step to human development because the top quality of our lifestyle is linked directly to the standard of our communication. The term „communication‟ is one of the the majority of over reviewed terms inside the academic market and it is often studied systematically since ancient times. This can be a multidimensional discipline of examine and that cannot be limited within a sole paradigm in narrow limits.
The hypotheses of conversation provide a set of useful tools for browsing the everyday processes and experiences of communication throughout the new contacts. A multiplicity of interdisciplinary theories and approaches comes in the areas of interaction studies, cultural studies, linguistics, philosophy, sociology, psychology, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, anthropology, clinical remedy, discourse analysis, semantics, unsupported claims, hermeneutics while others. Communication can be an interdisciplinary component of all the above fields of study. According to Robert Capital t.
